حضرت خالد بن ولید رضی اللہ عنہ

(قسط نمبر-09)

 اہلِ قریش ، غطفان اور دیگر قبائل جس محمد )ﷺ(کو شکست دینے آئے تھے وہ محمد)ﷺ( کسی ملک کے بادشاہ نہیں تھے۔ وہ خداکے رسولﷺ تھے۔ خدا نےانہیں ایک عظیم پیغام دے کر رسالت عطا کی تھی۔ آپﷺ نے خدا سے مدد مانگی تھی ۔خدا اپنے رسولﷺ کو کیسے مایوس کرتا؟ اس کے علاوہ مدینہ کے اندر مسلمانوں کی عورتیں اور بچے دن رات اپنی کامیابی اور نجات کی دعائیں مانگتے رہتے تھے یہ دعائیں رائیگاں کیسے جاتیں؟۱۸ مارچ ۶۲۷ء بروز منگل مدینہ کی فضاء خاموش ہو گئی۔سردی خاصی تھی، ہوا بند ہو گئی۔ موسم خوش گوار ہو گیا لیکن یہ طوفان سے پہلے کی خاموشی تھی۔ اچانک آندھی آ گئی جو اس قدر تیز و تند تھی کہ خیمے اڑنے لگے۔ جھکڑ بڑے ہی سرد تھے۔آندھی کی تندی اور اس کی چیخوں سے گھوڑے اور اونٹ بھی گھبرا گئے اور رسیاں تڑوانے لگے۔مسلمانوں کی اجتماع گاہ سلع کی پہاڑی کی اوٹ میں تھی۔ ا س لیے آندھی انہیں اتنا پریشان نہیں کر رہی تھی جتنا مکہ کے لشکر کو ۔قریش کھلے میدان میں تھے۔ آندھی ان کا سامان اڑارہی تھی ،خیمے اُڑ گئے یا لپیٹ دیئے گئے تھے ۔لشکر کے سردار اور سپاہی اپنے اوپر ہر وہ کپڑا ڈال کر بیٹھ گئے تھے جو ان کے پاس تھا۔ان کیلئے یہ آندھی خدا کا قہر بن گئی تھی ۔اس کی چیخوں میں قہر اور غضب تھا۔ابو سفیان برداشت نہ کر سکا ،وہ اٹھا اسے اپنا گھوڑا نظر نہ آیا۔قریب ہی ایک اونٹ بیٹھاتھا۔ ابو سفیان اونٹ پر چڑھ بیٹھا اور اسے اٹھایا۔مؤرخ ابنِ ہشام کی تحریر کے مطابق ابو سفیان بلند آواز سے چلانے لگا۔’’اے اہلِ قریش! اے اہلِ غطفان ! کعب بن اسد نے ہمیں دھوکا دیا ہے۔آندھی ہمارا بہت نقصان کر چکی ہے۔ اب یہاں ٹھہرنا بہت خطرناک ہے۔مکہ کو کوچ کرو، میں جا رہا ہوں……میں جا رہا ہوں۔‘‘اس نے اونٹ کو مکہ کی طرف دوڑا دیا۔خالد کو آج وہ منظر یاد آ رہا تھا۔تمام لشکر جسے مکہ سے مدینہ کی طرف کوچ کرتے دیکھ کر اس کا سینہ فخر سے پھیل گیا تھا اور سر اونچا ہو گیا تھا، ابو سفیان کے پیچھے پیچھے ڈری ہوئی بھیڑوں کی طرح جا رہا تھا۔ خالد اور عمرو بن العاص نے اپنے طور پر سوچا تھا کہ ہو سکتا ہے مسلمان عقب سے حملہ کر دیں، چنانچہ انہوں نے اپنے سوار دستوں کو اپنے قابو میں رکھ کر لشکر کے عقب میں رکھاتھا ۔ابو سفیان نے ایسے حفاظتی اقدام کی سوچی ہی نہیں تھی۔اس پسپا ہوتے لشکر میں وہ آدمی نہیں تھے جو مارے گئے تھے اور اس لشکر میں نعیمؓ بن مسعود بھی نہیں تھے۔قریش کا لشکر چلا تو نعیم ؓ آندھی سے فائدہ اٹھاتے ہوئے خندق میں اتر گئے اور رسولِ کریمﷺ کے پاس پہنچ گئے تھے

آج خالد مدینہ کی طرف اسی راستے پر جا رہا تھا جس راستے سے ا سکا لشکر ناکام واپس گیا تھا۔ اسے شیخین کی پہاڑی نظر آنے لگی تھی ۔ آندھی نے تاریخِ اسلام کا رخ موڑ دیا۔آندھی نے یہ حقیقت واضح کر دی کہ خدا حق پرستوں کے ساتھ ہوتا ہے۔رسولِ خداﷺ کے دشمنوں کی پسپائی تنکوں کی مانند تھی۔جو آندھی میں اڑے جاتے ہیں اور انہیں ایک دوسرے کی خبر نہیں ہوتی۔خالد کو یہ پریشانی لاحق تھی کہ مسلمان تعاقب کریں گے لیکن مسلمانوں نے تعاقب کی سوچی ہی نہیں تھی۔اس آندھی میں تعاقب اور لڑائی مسلمانوں کے خلاف بھی جا سکتی تھی۔جس دشمن کوخدا نے بھگا دیا تھا اس کے پیچھے جانا دانشمندی نہیں تھی۔البتہ رسولِ کریمﷺ کے حکم سے چند ایک آدمیوں کو بلندیوں پر کھڑا کر دیا گیا تھاکہ وہ دشمن پر نظر رکھیں۔ ایسا نہ ہو کہ دشمن کہیں دور جا کر رک جائے اور منظم ہو کر واپس آجائے۔آندھی اتنی مٹی اور ریت اڑا رہی تھی کہ تھوڑی دور تک بھی کچھ نظر نہیں آتا تھا۔بہت دیر بعد تین ،چا رمسلمان گھوڑ سوار اس جگہ سے خندق پھلانگ گئے جہاں سے عکرمہ اور خالدکے گھوڑوں نے خندق پھلانگی تھی۔وہ دور تک چلے گئے انہیں اڑتی ہوئی گرد اور ریت کے سوا کچھ بھی نظر نہ آیا۔وہ رک گئے لیکن واپس نہ آئے۔شام سے کچھ دیر پہلے آندھی کا زور ٹوٹ گیااور جھکڑ تھم گئے ۔فضاء صاف ہو گئی اور نظر دور تک کام کرنے لگی۔دور افق پر زمین سے گرد کے بادل اٹھ رہے تھے۔ وہ اہلِ قریش اور ان کے اتحادی قبائل کی پسپائی کی گرد تھی جو ڈوبتے سورج کی آخری کرنوں میں بڑی صاف نظر آ رہی تھی۔ یہ گرد مکہ کو جا رہی تھی۔ تعاقب میں جانے والے مسلمان سوار اس وقت واپس آئے جب رات بہت گہری ہو چکی تھی۔’’خدا کی قسم!‘‘انہوں نے واپس آ کر بتایا۔’’وہ جو ہمارے عقیدے کو توڑنے اور مدینہ کی اینٹ سے اینٹ بجانے آئے تھے،وہ مدینہ سے اتنی دہشت لے کر گئے ہیں کہ رک نہیں رہے۔کہیں پڑاؤ نہیں کر رہے۔کیا راتوں کو مسافر پڑاؤ نہیں کیا کرتے؟کیا لشکر راتوں کو بھی چلتے رہتے ہیں؟وہی چلتے رہتے ہیں جو منزل تک بہت جلد ی پہنچنا چاہتے ہوں۔‘‘احادیث،اور مؤرخوں کی تحریروں کے مطابق رسولِ کریمﷺ کو جب یقین ہو گیا کہ دشمن گھبراہٹ کے عالم میں بھاگا ہے اور ایسا امکان ختم ہو چکا ہے کہ وہ منظم ہوکر واپس آ جائے گا ،تب آپﷺ نے کمر سے تلوار کھولی،خنجر اتار کر رکھ دیا اور اﷲ کا شکر ادا کر کے غسل کیا۔ اس رات کی کوکھ

سے جس صبح نے جنم لیا،وہ مدینہ والوں کیلئے فتح و نصرت اور مسرت و شادمانی کی صبح تھی۔ہر طرف اﷲ اکبر اور خوشیوں کے نعرے تھے۔سب سے زیادہ خوشی عورتیں اور بچے منا رہے تھے۔جنہیں چھوٹے چھوٹے قلعوں میں بند کردیا گیا تھا۔وہ خوشی سے چیختے چلاتے باہر نکلے۔مدینہ کی گلیوں میں مسلمان بہت مسرور پھر رہے تھے۔

فتح کے اس جشن میں بنو قریظہ کے یہودی بھی شامل تھے۔رسولِ کریمﷺ نے انہیں امن و امان میں رہنے کے عوض کچھ مراعات دے رکھی تھیں۔ظاہری طور پروہ مسلمانوں کو اپنا دوست کہتے،اور دوستوں کی طرح رہتے تھے۔اہلِ قریش کی پسپائی پر وہ مسلمانوں کی طرح خوشیاں منا رہے تھے لیکن ان کا سردار کعب بن اسد اپنے قلعے نما مکان میں بیٹھا تھا۔ا سکے پاس اپنے قبیلے کے تین سرکردہ یہودی بیٹھے تھے اور اُس وقت کی غیر معمولی طورپر حسین یہودن یوحاوہ بھی وہاں موجود تھی۔وہ گذشتہ شام اہلِ قریش کی پسپائی کی خبر سن کر آئی تھی۔’’کیا یہ اچھا نہیں ہوا کہ ہم نے مسلمانوں پر حملے نہیں کیے؟‘‘کعب بن اسد نے کہا۔’’مجھے نعیم بن مسعود نے اچھا مشورہ دیا تھا۔اس نے کہا تھا کہ قریش سے معاہدے کی ضمانت کے طور پر چند آدمی یرغمال کیلئے مانگو۔اس نے یہ بھی کہا تھاکہ قریش اس سے دگنالشکر لے آئیں تو بھی خندق عبور نہیں کر سکتے۔میں نے نعیم کا مشورہ اس لیے قبول کر لیا تھاکہ وہ اہلِ قریش میں سے ہے۔‘‘’’وہ اہلِ قریش میں سے نہیں۔‘‘ایک یہودی نے کہا۔’’وہ محمد کے پیروکاروں میں سے ہے۔‘‘’’خدائے یہودہ کی قسم!تمہاری بات سچ نہیں ہو سکتی۔‘‘کعب بن اسد نے کہا۔’’وہ اہلِ قریش کے ساتھ آیا تھا۔‘‘’’مگر ان کے ساتھ گیا نہیں۔‘‘اسی یہودی نے کہا۔’’میں نے کل شام اسے مدینہ میں مسلمانوں کے ساتھ دیکھا ہے۔اس وقت تک ا ہلِ قریش کا لشکر مدینہ سے بہت دور جا چکا تھا۔‘‘’’پھر تمہیں کس نے بتایا ہے کہ وہ محمد)ﷺ( کے پیروکاروں میں سے ہے؟‘‘کعب نے کہا۔’’میں ایسی بات کو کیوں سچ مانوں جو تم نے کسی سے پوچھا نہیں۔‘‘’’میں نے اپنے ایک مسلمان دوست سے پوچھا تھا۔‘‘یہودی نے کہا۔’’میں نے نعیم کو دیکھ کر کہا تھا،کیا مسلمان اب قریش کے جنگی قیدیوں کو کھلا رکھتے ہیں؟میرے دوست نے جواب دیا تھا کہ نعیم کبھی کا اسلام قبول کرچکا ہے۔اسے مدینہ میں آنے کا موقع اب ملا ہے۔‘‘ ’’پھر اس نے ہمیں مسلمانوں سے نہیں بلکہ مسلمانوں کو ہم سے بچایا ہے۔‘‘کعب بن اسد نے کہا۔’’اس نے جو کچھ بھی کیا ہے ،ہمارے لیے اچھا ثابت ہوا ہے۔اگر ہم قریش کی بات مان لیتے تو……‘‘’’تو مسلمان ہمارے دشمن ہو جاتے۔‘‘ایک اور یہودی نے کہا۔’’تم یہی کہنا چاہتے ہو نہ کعب! مسلمان پھر بھی ہمارے دشمن ہیں،ہمیں محمد)ﷺ( کے نئے مذہب کو یہیں پر ختم کرنا ہے ورنہ محمد)ﷺ( ہمیں ختم کرا دے گا۔‘‘’’کیا تم نہیں دیکھ رہے کہ یہ مذہب جسے یہ لوگ اسلام کہتے ہیں ،کتنی تیزی سے مقبول ہوتا جا رہا ہے؟‘‘تیسرے یہودی نے جو معمر تھا ،کہا۔’’ہمیں اس کے آگے بندھ باندھنا ہے۔اسے روکنا ہے۔‘‘’’لیکن 

کیسے؟‘‘کعب بن اسد نے پوچھا۔’’قتل۔‘‘معمر یہودی نے کہا۔’’محمد)ﷺ( کا قتل۔‘‘’’ایسی جرات کون کرے گا؟‘‘کعب بن اسد نے کہا۔’’تم کہو گے کہ وہ ایک یہودی ہو گا۔اگر وہ محمد)ﷺ( کے قتل میں ناکام ہو گیا تو بنو قینقاع اوربنو نضیر کا انجام دیکھ لو،مسلمانوں نے انہیں جس طرح قتل کیا ہے اور ان میں سے زندہ بچ رہنے والے جس طرح دوردراز کے ملکوں کو بھاگ گئے ہیں وہ نہ بھولو۔‘‘’’خدائےیہودہ کی قسم!‘‘معمر یہودی نے کہا۔’’میری عقل تم سے زیادہ کام نہیں کرتی تو تم سے کم بھی نہیں،تم نے جو آج سوچا ہے وہ میں اور’’ لیث بن موشان‘‘ بہت پہلے سوچ چکے ہیں ۔کوئی یہودی محمد)ﷺ( کو قتل کرنے نہیں جائے گا۔‘‘’’پھر وہ کون ہو گا؟‘‘’’وہ قبیلۂ قریش کا ایک آدمی ہے۔‘‘بوڑھے یہودی نے جواب دیا۔’’لیث بن موشان نے اسے تیارکر لیا ہے ۔میرا خیال ہے کہ اب وقت آ گیا ہے کہ یہ کام کر دیا جائے۔‘‘’’اگر تم لوگ بھول نہیں گئے کہ میں بنو قریظۃ کا سردار ہوں تو میں اس کام کی اجازت کیسے دے سکتا ہوں جو مجھے معلوم ہی نہ ہوکہ کیسے کیا جائے گا؟‘‘کعب بن اسد نے کہا۔’’اور مجھے کون بتائے گا کہ اس آدمی کواتنے خطرناک کام کیلئے کیسے تیار کیا گیا ہے؟کیا اسے ابو سفیان نے تیار کیا ہے؟خالدبن ولید نے تیار کیا ہے؟‘‘’’سنو کعب!‘‘بوڑھے یہودی نے کہااور یہودی حسینہ یوحاوہ کی طرف دیکھا۔’’میں یہ بات لیث بن موشان کی موجودگی میں سناؤں تو کیا اچھا نہ ہوگا؟‘‘یوحاوہ نے کہا۔’’اس بات میں اس بزرگ کا عمل دخل زیادہ ہے۔‘‘’’ہم اس بوڑھے جادوگر کو کہاں سے بلائیں۔‘‘کعب بن اسد نے کہا۔’’ہم تم پر اعتبار کرتے ہیں۔‘‘ ’’وہ یہیں ہیں۔‘‘بوڑھے یہودی نے کہا۔’’ہم اسے ساتھ لائے ہیں اور ہم اسے بھی ساتھ لائے ہیں جو محمد )ﷺ(کو قتل کرے گا۔اب ہم انتظار نہیں کر سکتے۔ہم سب کو امید تھی کہ قریش غطفان اور ان کے دوسرے قبائل اسلام کا نام و نشان مٹا دیں گے مگر ہر میدا ن میں انہوں نے شکست کھائی ۔ہم نے انہیں مدینہ پر حملہ کیلئے اکسایا تھا وہ یہاں سے بھی بھاگ نکلے۔ خدائے یہودہ کی قسم! کعب تم نے م

سلمانوں پر عقب سے حملہ نہ کرکے بہت برا کیا ہے۔‘‘’’میں اس کی وجہ بتا چکا ہوں۔‘‘ کعب بن اسد نے کہا۔’’وجہ صحیح تھی یا غلط۔‘‘معمر یہودی نے کہا۔’’وقت ہاتھ سے نکل گیا ہے۔ اب ہم قریش کی فتح کا انتظار نہیں کر سکتے۔ ‘‘اس نے یوحاوہ سے کہا۔’’لیث بن موشان کو بلاؤ دوسرے کو ابھی باہر رکھو۔‘‘یوحاوہ کمرے سے نکل گئی ۔واپس آئی تو اس کے ساتھ لیث بن موشان تھا ۔وہ ایک بوڑھا یہودی تھا جس کی عمر ستر اور اسی برس کے درمیان تھی۔اس کے سر اور داڑھی کے بال دودھ کی طرح سفید ہو چکے تھے۔ داڑھی بہت لمبی تھی،اس کے چہرے کا رنگ سرخ و سفید تھا ،اس نے اونٹ کے رنگ کی قبا پہن رکھی تھی۔ اس کے ہاتھ میں لمبا عصاتھاجو اوپر سے سانپ کے پھن کی طرح تراشا ہوا تھا۔لیث بن موشان کو یہودیوں میں جادوگر کے نام سے شہرت حاصل تھی۔شعبدہ بازی اور کالے علم میں وہ مہارت رکھتا تھا ۔وہ مکہ اور مدینہ کے درمیان کسی گاؤں کا رہنے والا تھا۔اس کے متعلق بہت سی روایات مشہور تھیں،جن میں سے ایک یہ تھی کہ وہ مردے کو تھوڑی سی دیر کیلئے زندہ کر سکتا ہے اور وہ کسی بھی مرد یا عورت کو اپنے تابع کرنے کی طاقت رکھتا تھا۔

یہودی اسے اپنا پیرومرشد سمجھتے تھے ۔وہ جہاندیدہ اور عالم فاضل شخص تھا۔وہ کمرے میں داخل ہوا تو سب اس کی تعظیم کو اٹھے وہ جب بیٹھ گیا تو سب بیٹھے۔’’خاندانِموشان کی عظمت سے کون واقف نہیں۔‘‘کعب بن اسد نے کہا۔’’خدائے یہودہ کی قسم! ہم میں سے کوئی بھی آپ کو یہاں بلانے کی جرات نہیں کر سکتا تھا۔ یوحاوہ شاید آپ کو لے آئی ہے۔‘‘’’میں پیغمبر نہیں، کعب بن اسد!‘‘لیث بن موشان نے کہا۔’’میں یہ خوبصورت الفاظ سننے کا عادی نہیں اور تعظیم و احترام کاوقت بھی نہیں۔کوئی نہ بلاتا تو بھی مجھے آنا تھا۔تم لوگ اپنے فرض کی ادائیگی میں بہت وقت ضائع کر چکے ہو۔ تم سے یہ لڑکی اچھی ہے جس نے وہ کام کر لیا ہے جو تمہیں کرنا چاہیے تھا۔‘‘’’معزز موشان ‘‘کعب بن اسدنے کہا۔’’ہم نے ابھی اس انتہائی اقدام کی سوچی نہیں تھی۔اگر ہم محمد )ﷺ(کے قتل جیسا خوفناک ارادہ کرتے بھی تو یوحاوہ کو استعمال نہ کرتے۔ہم اتنی خوبصورت اور جوان لڑکی کو استعمال نہیں کر سکتے۔

  The people of Quraysh, Ghatfan and other tribes who came to defeat Muhammad (pbuh) were not the kings of any country. They were the messengers of God. God had given them a great message.  He asked for help. How could God disappoint His Messenger? Besides, Muslim women and children inside Madinah used to pray day and night for their success and salvation. How could these prayers go in vain?  Gone. It was very cold, the wind stopped. The weather was pleasant but it was the silence before the storm. Suddenly a storm came which was so strong that the tents began to fly. The gusts were very cold.  Horses and camels also became frightened by his screams and began to untie the ropes. The gathering place of the Muslims was in the shadow of the hill of Salah. Therefore, the wind was not bothering them as much as the army of Makkah. The Quraysh were in the open field.  The wind was blowing their luggage, the tents were blown away or wrapped up. The army chiefs and soldiers were sitting on top of themselves with all the clothes they had. For them, this wind was the wrath of God.  There was anger and rage in his screams. Abu Sufyan could not bear it, he got up and did not see his horse. A camel was sitting nearby.  Abu Sufyan got on the camel and picked it up. According to the writings of the historian Ibn Hisham, Abu Sufyan started shouting loudly. “O people of Quraysh!  O people of Ghatfan!  Ka'b bin Asad has deceived us. The wind has done us a lot of harm.  It is very dangerous to stay here now. Coach Mecca, I am going; I am going. ”He drove the camel towards Mecca. Khalid was remembering that scene today.  Seeing him march towards Madinah, his chest was spread with pride and his head was raised, he was following Abu Sufyan like frightened sheep.  Khalid and Amr ibn al-'As thought on their own that the Muslims might attack from behind, so they kept their cavalry under their control and kept them behind the army. Abu Sufyan did not think of such a security measure.  There were no men in this retreating army who were killed and Naeem ibn Mas'ud was not in this army. When the army of Quraysh left, Naeem took advantage of the wind and went down into the ditch and reached the Holy Prophet.

 Today, Khalid was on his way to Madinah on the same route by which his army had failed.  He could see the mountain of Sheikhin.  The wind turned the course of Islamic history. The wind made clear the fact that God is with the righteous. The retreat of the enemies of the Messenger of God was like straw. They are blown away in the wind and they do not know each other.  Khalid was worried that the Muslims would pursue him but the Muslims did not think of pursuing him. In this storm, persecution and fighting could also go against the Muslims. It was not wise to go after the enemy whom God had driven away.  However, by the order of the Holy Prophet, a few men were raised on high ground to keep an eye on the enemy.  Don't let the enemy stop somewhere and come back organized. The wind was blowing so much dust and sand that nothing could be seen even for a short distance.  They jumped from where Ikrima and Khalid's horses had climbed the ditch. They went far away. They saw nothing but flying dust and sand. They stopped but did not return. Shortly before evening the wind broke and  The commotion subsided. The atmosphere cleared and the sight began to work far away. Dust clouds were rising from the ground on the distant horizon.  It revolved around the retreat of the Quraysh and their allied tribes, which was clearly visible in the last rays of the setting sun.  It was going around Mecca.  The pursuing Muslim riders returned when night fell. "By God!" He returned. "Those who came to break our faith and to play brick by brick in Medina."  They have taken so much terror from Madinah that they do not stop. They are not encamping anywhere. Do not the travelers encamp at night? Do the armies continue to march even at night? They are the only ones who reach the destination very quickly.  According to the hadiths and the writings of historians, when the Holy Prophet was convinced that the enemy had fled in a state of panic and the possibility that he would return in an organized manner, he drew his sword from his waist.  He opened it, took off his dagger and took a bath after giving thanks to Allah.  The womb of the night

 The morning that was born was the morning of victory and victory for the people of Madinah. There were slogans of Akbar and happiness everywhere. The happiest women and children were celebrating. They were locked up in small forts.  He went out screaming with joy. Muslims were walking happily in the streets of Madinah.

 The Jews of Banu Qurayzah were also involved in this celebration of victory. The Holy Prophet had given them some privileges in exchange for living in peace and order.  But they were rejoicing like the Muslims, but their chief, Ka'b ibn Asad, was sitting in his castle-like house.  She had come last evening to hear the news of the retreat of the Quraysh. "Isn't it good that we have not attacked the Muslims?" Ka'b ibn Asad said. "I was given good advice by Naeem ibn Mas'ud.  He had asked the Quraysh to take a few hostages as a guarantee of an agreement. He had also said that the Quraysh could not cross the trench even if they brought Dagna Shakar with him.  He is one of the people of Quraysh. ”“ He is not one of the people of Quraysh. ”One Jew said.“ He is one of the followers of Muhammad. ”“ By the God of Judah! Your words cannot be true.  Ka'b ibn Asad said, "They are the people of Qar."  He came with Yash. "" But he did not go with them, "said the same Jew." I saw him with the Muslims in Madinah last evening.
